Creative and tech communities in smaller or fragmented ecosystems are disconnected across too many platforms, making it difficult for people to discover each other, collaborate, find opportunities, and feel part of a thriving local scene.
A hyperlocal platform designed to connect Sicily’s fragmented tech and creative ecosystem, helping designers, developers, freelancers, startups, and AI builders discover opportunities, events, collaborations, and each other in one place. Sicily has a growing creative and tech scene, but the ecosystem is highly disconnected. Opportunities are scattered across Instagram stories, WhatsApp groups, LinkedIn posts, Telegram chats, and word of mouth. Desici solves this by creating a shared digital hub for the Sicilian creative-tech community — making local talent, events, projects, and connections visible, accessible, and alive. The goal is not just networking. It’s making Sicily feel like a real, connected ecosystem for ambitious creative people.
